Toba Lake, located in North Sumatra, Indonesia, is a breathtaking natural wonder and the largest volcanic lake in the world. Formed from the colossal eruption of a super volcano around 75,000 years ago, the lake stretches over 1,100 square kilometers and reaches an impressive depth of 450 meters. The picturesque beauty of Toba Lake is enhanced by its surrounding lush green mountains and serene landscapes. It serves as a tranquil retreat for visitors who can enjoy a variety of activities, including swimming, boating, and fishing, while also exploring the indigenous Batak culture and their traditional villages. With its awe-inspiring scenery and rich cultural heritage, Toba Lake offers a remarkable destination for both relaxation and adventure in the heart of Sumatra.
Toba is hosting the 29th International Conference on Telecommunications (ICT) on November 8-9, 2023. The aim of this conference is to provide a forum for researchers and technologists to present new advances and contributions in the form of keynotes, tutorials, regular and special sessions.
